TRCA = Time Related Continuity Allowance + Dearness Allowance alag se milta hai.

Eligibility Kya Hai?

• Education: 10th Pass (Secondary School) from any recognized Board
• Compulsory subjects: Maths aur English 10th mein hona chahiye
• Local language: Hindi (Bihar circle ke liye) 10th tak padhi honi chahiye
• Computer knowledge basic level chahiye
• Higher qualification (12th, graduation) ka koi extra weightage nahi milega
• Age: 18-40 years (General), OBC +3, SC/ST +5, PwD +10 years relaxation
• Age calculate hogi last date of application (16 Feb 2026) ke basis pe

Application Fee Kitni Hai?

Payment Mode: Online (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI). Fee non-refundable hai.

Kaise Apply Karein?

Time kam hai, jaldi karo!

1. indiapostgdsonline.gov.in pe jaao.
2. "New Candidate Registration" pe click karo. Mobile number aur Email verify karo.
3. OTR (One-Time Registration) complete karo. Registration Number aur Password note kar lo.
4. Login karke Application Form fill karo.
5. Bihar Circle select karo, preferred Post Offices choose karo.
6. 10th class marks bahut carefully bharo, merit isi se banegi!
7. Photo aur Signature upload karo (specs follow karo).
8. Fee pay karo (Male Gen/OBC/EWS: Rs 100, baaki Free).
9. Submit karo aur confirmation page print kar lo.

Correction Window: 18-19 February 2026 (5 PM tak). Agar koi galti ho gayi toh edit kar sakte ho.

Selection Process Kya Hai?

Selection 100% merit based hai, koi exam nahi hoga:

1. 10th class aggregate percentage se merit banegi (4 decimal places tak)
2. Computer generated merit list banayi jayegi
3. No written exam, no interview
4. Grade wale boards ke liye: Grade x 9.5 = Marks (e.g., A1 with 10 points = 95 marks)
5. Higher qualification ka koi benefit nahi (12th/Graduate marks count nahi hote)

Tie-breaking: Zyada age wale ko preference milegi.

GDS Ke Baare Mein

GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) India Post ke rural areas mein kaam karte hain. Ye regular government employee nahi hote, lekin government engagement hai with good TRCA (salary equivalent), DA, gratuity aur other benefits. Branch Postmaster (BPM) sabse senior GDS post hai.
