Bihar connection: Katihar division NFR ka Bihar-side zone hai (Katihar, Purnea, Kishanganj belt) - Seemanchal ke ITI holders ke liye ghar ke paas ka sabse bada railway-training mauka.

Eligibility

• 10th pass minimum 50% marks (SC/ST/PwBD ko relaxation)
• ITI certificate (NCVT/SCVT) - notification me diye trade me (Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Machinist etc.)
• MLT (Medical Lab Technician) trades ke liye 12th PCB
• Age 15-24 (19 August 2026 pe); SC/ST +5, OBC +3, PwBD +10, Ex-SM per rules

Selection - Merit Only (Ye Samajh Lo)

1. Merit list = 10th % + ITI % ka average - jitne marks, utna upar

Merit Kaise Banti Hai (Samajh Lo)

Merit = 10th % aur ITI % ka simple average. Jaise 10th me 78% + ITI me 82% = merit score 80. Na koi exam, na interview, na weightage ka chakkar. Isliye:

• Trade-wise + division-wise alag merit lists banti hain - kam competition wali division (Tinsukia, Dibrugarh) me bhi option socho agar relocate kar sakte ho

Apprenticeship Ke Baad Kya

Training 1-3 saal (trade ke hisab se), stipend ke saath. Complete hone pe NCVT certificate milta hai - phir RRB Technician/ALP bharti me ex-apprentice quota ka fayda (Railway apni bharti me trained apprentices ko weightage/reserved slots deta hai). Ye seedha job nahi hai, par railway job ka sabse strong raasta hai.
