Normalization Process

SSC normalization formula use karta hai kyunki exam multiple shifts mein hota hai (3 shifts/day, 15+ din).

Kyu zaroori hai:

  • Har shift ka difficulty level alag hota hai
  • Normalization sab marks ko common scale pe lata hai
  • Kisi ko harder/easier shift se disadvantage nahi hota

Key Points:

  • Sirf Session II marks normalize hote hain
  • Session I marks normalize nahi hote (qualifying hai)
  • Raw score aur normalized score mein difference ho sakta hai
  • Formula SSC ki official website pe available hai

Tie-Breaking Criteria (Important!)

Agar 2 candidates ke Session II normalized marks same hain toh:

  1. Session II mein General Awareness section ke higher marks
  2. Session I ke higher normalized marks
  3. Date of Birth - older candidate pehle
  4. Alphabetical order of names

GK section strong rakhna zaroori hai - sirf merit ke liye nahi, tie-breaking mein bhi kaam aata hai!
